Help us bring over 9,600 British Columbians a special meal this holiday season. Sign up as a group (between 3 and 15 people) and volunteer as part of our Holiday Hamper campaign.
Every December, in partnership with YVR, Quest Outreach Society works with dozens of non-profit partners and social service agencies to provide holiday hamper meals to over 9,600 British Columbians. Each hampers feeds a family or up to six adults in one sitting and includes a turkey and all of the vegetables, treats, recipes and fixings needed for a beautiful holiday meal.
Volunteer groups will meet at Quest’s head office in November/December (2020 Dundas Street, Vancouver), participate in a site tour, and help build holiday hampers for British Columbians in need, all the while building moments and memories with their group and learning more about food security across our communities. Groups help Quest prepare and organize holiday hampers in 4-hour shifts, weekdays, in three different stages during the months of November and December. These volunteer shifts are team building experiences and fill up fast. No matter the time of year, we are always in need of volunteers.
