To help give you a sense of how popular cheese is at Quest, when it came time to take photos for the #12DaysofQuest campaign towards the end of a weekly food delivery cycle, we almost couldn’t find enough for the photoshoot! It’s a cherished and sought-after item in our markets and a great source of calcium, fat and protein. We work hard to source basic varieties like cheddar and mozzarella, in blocks, slices, or shredded form.
The Quest Difference
The challenge with cheese is the fact that it’s so popular. So much of our food is donated which means we can’t always guarantee the same volumes or types of variety week to week. A small 100 gram block of mozzarella will run anywhere from $1.87- $2.35 which, by traditional grocery market standards, is very low, all thanks to our food Food Partners.
Quest considers cheese a staple item that we need to have consistently on our market shelves. On top of that, we want our clients to have access to the variety they want and need, like any other grocery store.
