RECIPE: CRUNCHY BEET CHIPS

Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized beets (any variety)
  • 1-2 tsp of oil (any kind available)
  • Optional: Pinch of salt 

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beets
    • Wash and peel the beets. Slice as thinly as possible using a knife or grater.
  2. Coat and season
    • Place beet slices in a bowl, drizzle with oil, and toss to coat.
    • Sprinkle with a pinch of salt if using.
  3. Choose your cooking method
    • Oven: Preheat to 300°F (150°C). Spread beet slices in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp.
    • Pan-fry: Heat a dry pan on low heat. Add beet slices in a single layer, flipping often, until crisp.
    • Air-dry: Lay slices on a clean surface in a single layer and let dry for 1–2 days until crisp.
  4. Cool and enjoy
    • Let chips cool for extra crunch before serving.

Serving Suggestions: Enjoy on their own, with dip, or sprinkled over salads for that extra crunch!
