Easy Lemon Garlic Rockfish Fillet Recipe!

RECIPE: LEMON GARLIC ROCKFISH FILLET

Ingredients

  • 4 rockfish fillets (cut from a whole 2-3 lbs rockfish)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon (zest + juice)
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or cilantro) for garnish
  • Optional: 1 tbsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fish
    • Pat fillets dry with a paper towel. Season with salt, pepper and paprika (if using).
  2. Heat it up
    • In a pan over medium heat, add olive oil or butter. Once hot, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  3. Cook the fillets
    • Place rockfish fillets in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and flaky.
  4. Add flavor
    • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets and sprinkle with zest.
  5. Serve and enjoy
    • Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with rice, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad.

Serving Suggestions: For extra crispiness, lightly coat the fillets in flour before cooking!
