Help bring over 1,000 families across the Lower Mainland a special meal this holiday season. Sign up as a group (between 3 and 10 people) and volunteer as part of our Holiday Hamper campaign.
Every December, in partnership with YVR, Quest Outreach Society works with dozens of non-profit partners and social service agencies to provide holiday hamper meals to over 1,000 families and individuals across the Lower Mainland. These hampers help feed families of 4-6 people and include a turkey and all of the vegetables, treats, recipes, and fixings families need for a beautiful holiday meal.
The 2022 Holiday Hamper Drive is taking place on Thursday, December 8th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This year, meet us at the Spirit of Haida Gwaii: The Jade Canoe at International Departures Level 3 for a “One Stop, Shop and Drop” at YVR’s Quest Pop-Up Market – new for 2022! Stop by to shop the shelves, fill a hamper bag, purchase the goods (a.k.a make a donation to Quest and help us reach our goal of 1250 hampers!
Here’s what to expect at the Holiday Hamper Drive & Quest Pop-Up Grocery Market:
- Stop by the Spirit of Haida Gwaii: The Jade Canoe between to receive a YVR branded shopping bag(s) while entering the “market.”
- Shop the market shelves to fill your bag with hamper items.
- Drop your hamper bag off after visiting the “check out” to make a donation (cash and credit card accepted).

Show your support by donating today to have your donation matched by YVR. If you make a donation in advance and plan to stop by the event on December 8th, simply show us your donation confirmation to complete the checkout process.
